Universal Sompo General Insurance appoints Priti Singh as Chief People Officer
Prior to joining Universal Sompo, Priti Singh served as Head of People & Capability at Mastercard for seven years
Universal Sompo General Insurance Company has appointed Priti Singh as its new Chief People Officer (CPO), with effect from 1st August 2024.
With a career spanning over two decades, Priti Singh brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, talent management, transformation, diversity and inclusion, culture assimilation, and leadership development to her new role.
Prior to joining Universal Sompo, Priti served as the Head of People & Capability at Mastercard for seven years, where she successfully led HR functions across South Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She has previously held prominent positions including the Head of Human Resources for Asia Service Centres at Sun Life Financial and the Head of Human Resources at AXA XL.
In addition to her operational roles, Priti has served as a Director on the Boards of Mastercard Technology, Sun Life India, and XL India, demonstrating her leadership capabilities and strategic vision.
