Rajesh Iyer was Business Head - Regional Entertainment at Viacom18 Media
Rajesh Iyer has stepped down as Business Head - Regional Entertainment at Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd, sources have told exchange4media.
Iyer was appointed as the Head of Colors Tamil, Odia, Gujarati and Bangla in October 2020.
He joined Network18 in March 2019 and has worked closely with the leadership team, spearheading new initiatives.
We reached out to Viacom18 for a comment but did not get a response till the time of publishing.
Prior to Viacom18, Rajesh Iyer was the Chief Operating Officer at YuppTV Inc for over a year and Business Head of &TV, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), for three years.
As part of the broadcast leadership team at ZEEL, Iyer successfully launched its second GEC &TV in 2015.
From 2008 to 2014, Iyer was Vice President and Head Marketing at Colors.
He has also worked with Star and Ambience Publicis/Ogilvy & Mather.
