VRL Media appoints Sanjeev Kulkarni as VP, Sales & Mktg, Vijayavani
Kulkarni moves from Vijay Karnataka after a stint of 14 years. His last position with the paper was that of General Manager, Ad Sales
VRL Media has announced the appointment of Sanjeev Kulkarni as VP, Sales and Marketing for Kannada daily Vijayavani.
Prior to joining VRL Media, Kulkarni was General Manager – Ad Sales, Vijay Karnataka, where he was heading ad sales for Mumbai and Western India, including Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh for brand Vijay Karnataka. He had joined Vijay Karnataka in 1999 and was with the paper for 14 years.
Speaking about his experience at Vijay Karnataka, Kulkarni said, “It has been an outstanding experience for me in this organisation. Through this company, I have been able to experience innumerable facets of new age business practices, strategies, resource management, data analysis, brands and various other instances and events.”
As per Audit Bureau Circulation data for January-June 2013, Vijayavani witnessed a 56 per cent increase in its circulation.
