Whirlpool India rejigs top brass
Whirlpool India on Friday announced a reshuffle in its top brass following the resignation of Mr Arvind Mediratta from the post of Vice-President (Marketing). Mr Shantanu Dasgupta, who was Consumer Service Vice-President till recently, has taken over as the new Marketing Vice-President.

The Exports Director, Mr Rajiv Kapur, has been named the head of Consumer Service while Mr Indranil Sinha, Regional Sales Director, will take over the responsibility for the Exports function.
The Refrigerator Manufacturing Vice-President, Mr Mahesh Krishna, will take over as Vice-President for Manufacturing and Supply Chain while the Procurement Vice-President, Mr Vikram Handa, has been vested with the additional responsibility for technology, a company statement here said.
"These internal leadership changes are a reflection of the wealth of talent we have at Whirlpool," the Managing Director, Mr Arvind Uppal said in a company statement.
