Prashanth Sridhar to head marketing & communications for Mental Health First Aid India
Sridhar comes with 14 years of experience in marketing and has worked across various industries
Mental Health First Aid India (MHFA) has appointed Prashanth Sridhar as its Marketing and Communications Head for India.
Sridhar who comes with 14 years’ experience in marketing and has worked across various industries and has handled marketing duties for different brands in India. His primary role with Mental Health First Aid India (MHFA India) would be to spearhead the marketing initiatives of MHFA and to create the right kind of awareness among different target audience.
Sridhar is an experienced marketer with comprehensive experience across industries including radio, retail, advertising and digital. He has worked with organizations like NDTV, Adlabs Films, Reliance Broadcast Network, Beanstalk Advertising and Route-01 Brand Management Company. He was also heading the Media and Marketing for TamilNadu Basketball Association and TamilNadu Football Rugby Union. Sridhar was also a consultant in the digital and communications for India’s three largest political organisations.
Speaking about the appointment, Erinda Shah (Founder of MHFA INDIA) said, “Prashanth’s enthusiasm for conquering new areas of expertise made him embrace Mental Health First Aid India and contribute towards changing the reality of mental health in the country. He has in-depth experience in Brand Management, Brand Marketing and Servicing. He is involved in social causes like child protection and safety. He will be a real asset to the organizaton.”
Speaking about his new role, Sridhar said: “I have been always curious about various marketing aspects and MHFA India would give me a cutting edge knowledge to understand customers better. I am sure during these difficult times it will be a challenge to do marketing but yes challenge accepted.”
