IPRCC Awards 2013: Sharif Rangnekar is PR Professional of the Year

Sharif Rangnekar, CEO and Director, Integral PR was adjudged as the PR Professional of the Year at exchange4media’s India PR & Corporate Communications Awards 2013, held in Delhi on May 31.
Rangnekar has led Integral PR for more than a decade. He has over 20 years of experience in the fields of journalism, public relations, communication and publishing. He has worked with organisations such as Penguin Books India, The Economic Times and The Pioneer, among others.
Rangnekar is currently the President of PRCAI, as well as a board member of the largest communication body in the world – ICCO. He is also part of the Special Advisory Group of PROI. He spent two terms on the international board of PROI, looking after the Asia Pacific region in the past.
Expressing his surprise at winning the Award, Rangnekar told exchange4media, “I really couldn’t figure out what could have been the reason to receive this award, with a very impressive jury that comes from different walks of life.”
He further said, “You really work to do your job, but not necessarily to be recognised.”
