Gutfeel, a Chennai-based communications firm, has won the business of VGN Developers, one of the major players in the real estate and infrastructure space in Chennai.

Speaking on the win, Amarnath, Business Head of Gutfeel, said, “We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the New Year. The VGN Developers’ win comes on the back of a pitch that involved two large national agencies. Our strategy was focussed and the creative sealed the win.”

Haree Prasad, Head - Marketing, VGN Developers, added here, “The team that is currently at Gutfeel was the one that launched VGN Minerva while they were at TBWA. Minerva was a huge success and we hope that Gutfeel will recreate that magic again. The media budgets are likely to be around Rs 12 crore for the year.”

Gutfeel has been set up by Amarnath, Josie and Hari. “The first few months were a period of liberation. We just took our own time to sink in this feeling that we are on our own. Once that phase was over, the team at Gutfeel was all set to meet clients fearlessly and without inhibitions or a tag to live up or down to,” said Josie, Creative Head of Gutfeel.

Summing up the unique philosophy of Gutfeel, Josie said, “We would like to call ourselves CommuniFeelers, rather than communicators. Feeling the needs of the community we are addressing is critical for our communication to work.”
