Ajay Ahluwalia appointed Creative Head of VGC

Vyas Gianetti has beefed up its Delhi creative team with the appointment of Ajay Ahluwalia as Creative Director. in Delhi. Ahluwalia, or AJ as he is known among friends and clients, comes on board from Publicis, where he was Creative Director.

Vyas Gianetti has beefed up its Delhi creative team with the appointment of Ajay Ahluwalia as Creative Director. in Delhi. Ahluwalia, or AJ as he is known among friends and clients, comes on board from Publicis, where he was Creative Director.

Commenting on Ahluwalia’s appointment, Anjan Roy, President, VGC, said, “Ajay is not only a great creative guy, he also connects superbly with people. His multi-dimensional experience helps his brands as well as his team. This mix is truly rare.”

Prior to Publicis, Ahluwalia was in creative leadership roles at McCann Erickson, Euro RSCG, Mudra and Contract. In these assignments, he was closely associated with brands such as Bacardi, Coca-Cola, Fanta, HP, NIIT, Hutch (now Vodafone), Perfetti, Nescafe, Kelvinator and Hindustan Times, among others.

Ahluwalia began his career in sales at HCL and has had stints in training (he had set up the Psychometrics division for NIS), in marketing as Marketing Head of Guardian Pharmacy, as well at strategic design consultancy.

Ahluwalia said, “VGC is known for its attention beyond mass media and a focus on the holistic creative development of a brand. It is uniquely positioned and is growing rapidly. I’m looking forward to making a major contribution here.”

VGC, Delhi has completed three years and currently has a roster of clients that includes Ping Mobile, Godfrey Philips, The Indian Express, Religare and The Park Hotels, among others.
