ASCI to elect Partha Sinha as next Chairperson
Sinha, who currently the Vice Chairperson of ASCI, will be elected during ASCI’s AGM to be held on September 4
The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) is all set to elect Partha Sinha as its next Chairman. The election will take place during ASCI’s AGM to be held on September 4. Sinha is currently the Vice Chairperson of ASCI.
Sinha will replace Saugata Gupta as chairman of the industry body. Gupta is the Managing Director and CEO of Marico Limited. He was named Chairman of ASCI Board of Governors for the term 2023-2024.
Partha Sinha is the President and Chief Brand Officer at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd (The Times Group).
Sinha is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad. In a career spanning about 30 years, he has been a nuclear design engineer, a banker, the strategy and marketing head of media and internet companies and an advertising strategist.
A brand marketing, media and communication professional, Sinha has been associated with names such as Ogilvy, Publicis, BBH, McCann and Citibank in the past.
BCCL has also onboarded ex Paytm MD and CEO Surinder Chawla as Response head.
