BAG Films’ Rajat Nigam puts in his papers

Rajat Nigam, Director-Operations in BAG Films & Media Ltd, has put in his papers recently. At BAG Films, Nigam had also taken over the operational responsibilities of Radio Dhamaal. However, Nigam’s next move could not be ascertained.

Prior to joining BAG, Nigam’s was with Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Ltd (BECIL) where he was Deputy General Manager-Operations and Marketing.

Confirming his move, Nigam said, “Yes, I have put in my papers at BAG. I had a role to play in the company, which I think I have fulfilled.”

Prior to BECIL, Nigam worked with Doordarshan for eight years as Chief Engineer. Nigam has more than 15 years of experience in the television industry. Besides conceptualising and executing TV projects, he has hands-on experience of running news and sports channels. He had been associated in the coverage of the Olympics Games in Athens, the Asian Games in Korea and Qatar, as well as international cricket. He has been largely associated in the concept of selling FM radio licences to the private sector.
