BAG Films ropes in Nilanjana Purkayastha as Business Head
BAG Films has appointed Nilanjana Purkayastha as Business Head. Purkayastha would be reporting to Anurradha Prasad, Managing Director, BAG Films and Media Ltd. She replaces Rajesh Chadha, who was with BAG Films as Senior Vice President and Head of Operations.

Purkayastha had quit Sahara One as Business Head in December 2008 after a seven-month stint. During her tenure at Sahara One, she was reporting to Seemanto Roy, Head, Sahara One Entertainment Business. Purkayastha has eight years’ experience in the television medium.
Prior to Sahara One, Purkayastha was with NDTV Imagine. She had also worked with Star Plus as Creative Director before joining NDTV Imagine in 2007.
