Happy, a Bangalore-based ideas shop, has added new faces to its creative team. Founded by two former O&M Bangalore hands – Parveen Das and Kartik Iyer – the agency had shot to fame with their work on Lee, including Lee’s first ever TV commercial in India.
Rajesh E Thomas and Sharat Kuttikat have joined the agency as Associate Creative Directors. Both move from O&M Bangalore. Thomas has worked on accounts like HLL (now Hindustan Unilever Ltd), Titan, Bingo and Lenovo. His work for Lenovo (Levitating laptop) had won a Cannes nomination and also a Gold at the Abby’s in 2007 in the DM category.
Kuttikat has been handling the Vodafone account, apart from having earlier worked on Rohan Builders, SAP, and WorldSpace, among others. He was part of the team that worked on ‘Rusty, the missing puppy’ campaign for Rohan Builders that won a Cannes nomination last year.
Earlier in June, Happy had appointed Bhavna Thakur as Manager-Business Relations to handle their existing portfolio of accounts. Thakur had earlier worked with TBWA Manila and then briefly at O&M’s Lenovo Hub in Bangalore.
