Big FM Kolkata brings in a Station Head
Big FM has decided to move Bodhayan Roychaudhury from its Mumbai office to Kolkata operations as Station Head. Hitherto, Kolkata did not have a Station Head. Roychaudhury assumes the new task from June 1, 2007.
Big FM has decided to induct a Station Head for its Kolkata operations. Hitherto, Soumen Ghosh Choudhury, Chief Technical Officer and Regional Head, East, was overseeing the Kolkata station. However, now he has some dedicated help in Bodhayan Roychaudhury.
Until now, Roychaudhury was in the Corporate Marketing team of Big FM Mumbai. But from June 1, 2007, he is being moved as Station Head, Kolkata, to look after operations here. Commenting on his new assignment, Bodhayan said, “I am excited to take up this challenge to be the first choice of listeners, as we not only entertain but positively impact and transform their lives.”
Bodhayan, a Masters in Business Administration from S P Jain Management Institute, had started his career with Nestle as Brand Manager for Nescafe and subsequently moved to Hindustan Unilever in Sales. His last assignment was with CNBC-TV 18 as Senior Marketing Manager.
