BSNL assigns creative duties to Euro RSCG, Grey Worldwide, account size pegged at Rs 70 cr

BSNL has appointed Euro RSCG and Grey Worldwide to handle its creative business. While Euro RSCG will handle their bfone (landline) and broadband business, Grey Worldwide will handle their corporate and cellular phone business CellOne. The size of the business is estimated to be Rs 70 crore.

BSNL has appointed Euro RSCG and Grey Worldwide to handle its creative business. While Euro RSCG will handle their bfone (landline) and broadband business, Grey Worldwide will handle their corporate and cellular phone business CellOne. The size of the business is estimated to be Rs 70 crore, which has been split between the two agencies with Euro RSCG is handling Rs 30 crore and Grey handling Rs 40 crore.

Confirming the development, senior sources said that the work would begin in a week’s time. The agencies would be working towards a 360-degree angle communication, which includes print, TVC and outdoors. Grey will also work closely to built the corporate image of BSNL. BSNL had launched its corporate campaign three years ago.

The two agencies were selected following a multi-agency pitch that took place a month back. The short-listed agencies for the basic telephony and corporate business were RK Swamy/BBDO and Pressman, apart from Euro RSCG and Grey Worldwide.

As reported by exchange4media earlier, the media buying and planning duties of BSNL have been awarded to Media Direction, the media arm of RK Swamy/BBDO.
