Cannes 2005: Only one McCann entry shortlisted for both Films & Radio awards

Contrary to expectations of many, the Films awards don’t have much for the Indian advertising fraternity. The shortlist for the Film and Radio awards is announced yesterday. Both the categories have only one Indian shortlist entry from McCann Erickson.

Contrary to expectations of many, the Films awards don’t have much for the Indian advertising fraternity. The shortlist for the Film and Radio awards is announced yesterday. Both the categories have only one Indian shortlist entry from McCann Erickson.

The entry that has seen recognition is Happy Dent Photographer for the client Perfetti.

Prior to this, for the Media Lions and Lions Direct, there was only one Indian entry and no winners. Cyber Lion had two entries and again no winners. Press awards had ten shortlisted entries, which resulted in one winner – JWT’s Indian Red Cross and Outdoor had two winners – O&M and Leo Burnett, where the category had eight Indian entries.
