Cannes Lions 2024: Prasoon Pandey & Prerna Mehrotra among Jury Presidents
Prasoon Pandey has been named Film Craft Lions President and Prerna Mehrotra Media Lions President
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on Thursday announced the names of the global experts confirmed to lead the 2024 Juries. Among the Jury Presidents are ace ad film maker Prasoon Pandey and dentsu Chief Client Officer and CEO Media, APAC Prerna Mehrotra.
Pandey, who heads the Corcoise Films and is the previous Lion of St. Mark honouree, has been named as the Film Craft Lions President. Mehrotra has been named Media Lions President.
Over 15 markets are represented in the jury, with six Presidents based in APAC which is the highest ever, says the award committee.
Cannes Lions 2024 takes place from 17 to 21 June in Cannes, France. Awards submissions are open until 11 April 2024.
“Well, I’m honoured to be the Jury President of the Film Craft Lions at Cannes. The Awards are now open and I can’t wait to see creativity from across the world in action. I guess everyone should quickly start putting their best work together for Cannes Lions. This is the stage one must shine on,” Pandey told e4m.
Among the Jury Presidents, Tor Myhren will serve as the Film Lions Jury President – the first time Apple has been represented. GUT’s Anselmo Ramos is confirmed as the Brand Experience & Activation Lions President after a series of historic wins in 2023, and Debbi Vandeven has been announced as Jury President of the Dan Wieden Titanium Lions, representing the largest creative agency network in the world, VML.Commenting on the Jury Presidents, Simon Cook, CEO, Lions, said: “Our Jury Presidents play a crucial role in the existence of the Lions.
