Following a global realignment, Citibank has moved its media buying and selling responsibilities to Mediaedge:cia (MEC) in India. The account so far was with The Media Edge.
Shubha George, MD, MEC, said, “This is part of a global realignment. MEC handles Citibank in many markets and the same has been applied to India now.”
She further said that no pitch process was involved in the move. About the addition of the client to MEC kitty, which has just seen wins like Nivea and Singapore Airlines, she said, “We are very happy with the addition of a client like Citibank to our clientele. We have done some work for them already now and are looking forward to a fruitful partnership.”
Citibank offers a range of services from Internet banking, loans, investment, insurance, credit cards and so on.
