Dabur India’s ad spends grow 21% in Q4

The company reported a surge in quarterly net profit by 16.2% to Rs 350 crore

Ayurveda company Dabur India has announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. The company reported an increase in quarterly net profit by 16.2% to Rs 350 crore, up from Rs 301 crore a year earlier. The company's revenue from operations also grew by 5% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,815 crore during the quarter.

It spent Rs 183.65 crore on advertising in the quarter. This is a growth of 21.09% compared to the Rs 151.63 crore spent in the corresponding quarter last year. For the year ended March 31, 2024, Dabur India spent Rs 849.06 crore on advertising compared to Rs 640.27 crore it spent in the year ended March 31, 2023. This is a growth of 32.6%.

Dabur attributed its steady performance in the fourth quarter to effective execution of its power brand strategy, increased focus on premium products, expanded distribution reach, and rigorous cost reduction measures.

"We've ended the year with a steady performance underscoring the power of Dabur's brands. We have been investing heavily behind our brands to drive demand and sustain growth momentum," said CEO Mohit Malhotra.
