Dainik Jagran tops in IRS too; Saras Salil leads among magazines
Following closely on the heels of NRS 2005, the numbers for IRS 2005 R-2 have just been announced, bringing cheer to Hindi publications once again. Topping the list is Dainik Jagran with a readership of 1,91,74,000. Dainik Bhaskar is No. 2 with a readership of 1,50,92,000. Among magazines, Saras Salil with a readership of 73,66,000 takes the top slot and Vanitha has come in at second position with a readership of 39,95,000.

Following closely on the heels of NRS 2005, the numbers for IRS 2005 R-2 have just been announced, bringing cheer to Hindi publications once again. Topping the list is Dainik Jagran with a readership of 1,91,74,000. Dainik Bhaskar is No. 2 with a readership of 1,50,92,000. Among magazines, Saras Salil with a readership of 73,66,000 takes the top slot and Vanitha has come in at second position with a readership of 39,95,000.
Among newspapers, Daily Tanthi takes the third slot grossing a readership of 1,05,58,000. Amar Ujala with a readership of 98,45,000 is at the fourth slot and Malayala Manorama is fifth with 94,26,000. The sixth rank is taken by Hindustan with a readership of 89,97,000. Lokmat (88,72,000) and Eenadu (87,75,000) are in seventh and eighth positions, followed by Mathrubhumi (80,42,000) at ninth.
Significantly, The Times of India, with a readership of 7,287,000, is at No. 10, and is the only English language newspaper to make it to the Top 10.
Among magazines, the English edition of India Today is at third position with a readership of 38,99,000.
