Dentsu Marcom elevates Ashish Dabral as COO; Adrian Mendonza made National Creative Director

Dentsu Marcom has announced the elevation of Ashish Dabral as Chief Operating Officer, while Adrian Mendonza has been promoted as National Creative Director. Both Dabral and Mendonza have been with Dentsu since its inception four years ago.

Dentsu Marcom has announced the elevation of Ashish Dabral as Chief Operating Officer, while Adrian Mendonza has been promoted as National Creative Director. Both Dabral and Mendonza have been with Dentsu since its inception four years ago. Both of them are Mumbai-based. Prior to their new roles, Dabral was Executive VP of Dentsu Marcom, while Mendonza was Executive Creative Director.

Confirming the elevations, Rajesh Aggarwal, Executive Director, Dentsu Marcom, said, “We feel good when internal talent rises within the agency. In times of high attrition, the top deck at Dentsu has largely remained stable.”

Mendonza is a 20-year veteran of the advertising business, having worked earlier with Rediffusion DY&R and Mudra. He has several award winning campaigns to his credit over the years, including Mother’s Recipe, Vimal, IndianOil, BPL, Hindustan Petroleum and more recent ones like Mumbai Unbreakable for the Mumbai Police.

“Adrian is an inspiring creative leader and I am happy that we have now charged him with the responsibility of leading our creative product nationally at Dentsu Marcom,” said Gullu Sen, Chief Creative Officer, Dentsu India.

Dabral, too, has been in advertising for almost 20 years, having worked long innings at Contract before coming to Dentsu. He will now shoulder all India responsibility at the agency, working closely with Rajesh Aggarwal on strategic planning, client-servicing, HR and business development.
