Goafest abstainers O&M & McCann send in entries for INK Awards
Ogilvy has sent in 11 entries for the inaugural Dainik Bhaskar INK Awards, while McCann Erickson has sent in 17 entries. As can be recalled, both the agencies are not sending their entries for Goafest this year
Entries are pouring in for the Dainik Bhaskar INK Awards, an initiative of the exchange4media Group. Among the agencies that have confirmed their participation and sent in their entries are Ogilvy & Mather and McCann Erickson. As can be recalled, both the agencies are not sending their entries for Goafest this year. In fact, Ogilvy was among the absentees at last year’s Goafest as well.
Ogilvy & Mather has sent in 11 entries for the Dainik Bhaskar INK Awards, while McCann Erickson has sent in 17 entries.
The Dainik Bhaskar INK Awards have been instituted to reward creativity in newspaper advertising and to recognise the talent behind it. The first edition of the Awards will recognise work done between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013. In its inaugural year, Awards will be given in 21 categories. The Awards ceremony will be held in Mumbai on May 15, 2014.
The Dainik Bhaskar INK Awards seek to raise the profile and standard of print advertising in India and to reward strategic thinking, innovation, creativity and effectiveness in all media in this sector. They will also honour the outstanding contributions made by various individuals and organisations to the print advertising industry.
