HP splits India marketing division into two; Shuchi Sarkar to head retail marketing in APAC, Japan
Shuchi Sarkar, Head of Marketing, Personal Systems Group, HP India is moving to Singapore to head retail marketing for HP in Asia Pacific and Japan. The move follows HP India’s decision to split its marketing division into two parts – commercial marketing and consumer marketing.

Shuchi Sarkar, Head of Marketing, Personal Systems Group, HP India is moving to Singapore to head retail marketing for HP in Asia Pacific and Japan. The move follows HP India’s decision to split its marketing division into two parts – commercial marketing and consumer marketing.
Sarkar will be joining her new assignment in the first week of December. Commenting on her new role, Sarkar said, “I am looking forward to my new assignment. It will be a new challenge.”
Deepti Dang, who was previously Commercial Manager, will now head the commercial marketing business. She will be reporting to Nitin Choudhary, Director, Commercial Business. Shubhodip Pal will be the Head of Consumer Marketing. He was previously Manager, Consumer Marketing. Pal will be reporting to Rajiv Grover, Director, Consumer Business.
