Sanjeev Shukla, who quit as Marketing Manager with Hyundai Motor India last month, has decided not to join Videocon Electronics as Head of Sales & Marketing, Middle East. Instead, Shukla has joined Hero Honda as Senior Manager-Marketing Communication, as of April 28, 2006. He will be reporting to P.S. Sundar, General Manager-Marketing.

Shukla left Hyundai Motors after an eight-year stint. He had been associated with the Korean auto major since its inception.

On his new assignment, Shukla said, “I have spent enough time with Hyundai. I want to move for new challenges and poised for further growth.”

Before Hyundai, Shukla was in advertising. He started his career as Sales Officer with Eternet Everest, which manufactures cement products. He then moved to R Kanga Advertising as Client Servicing Executive. After a year, he moved to Saatchi & Saatchi in the same position. Then he moved to HTA (now JWT) as Client Servicing Executive and worked there for three and a half years.
