India@Spikes Asia2009: 11 pieces of work in Print & 17 in Outdoor shortlist; 6 entries in Media; 8 in Direct & Sales Promotion and 8 in Design shortlists

Spikes Asia has announced the shortlists for the Outdoor, Print, Media, Design and Direct & Sales Promotion categories on September 16, 2009. From India, there are 17 pieces of work, across nine main entries that are competing for metals in the Outdoor category. There are 11 pieces of work, across six entries that are competing in the Print category. There are six entries shortlisted in the Media category. There are eight entries shortlisted in the Direct & Sales Promotion. And there are eight entries that have made it to the Design shortlist.

Spikes Asia has announced the shortlists for the Outdoor, Print, Media, Design and Direct & Sales Promotion categories on September 16, 2009.

From India, there are 17 pieces of work, across nine main entries that are competing for metals in the Outdoor category. There are 11 pieces of work, across six entries that are competing in the Print category. There are six entries shortlisted in the Media category. There are eight entries shortlisted in the Direct & Sales Promotion. And there are eight entries that have made it to the Design shortlist.

Outdoor

There are 17 pieces of work, across nine main entries that are competing for the metals in the Outdoor category. Leo Burnett has three entries shortlisted for the Tide Detergent campaign and then three entries again for Bajaj Electricals campaign. Ogilvy India has one entry for Sab Miller India and then three pieces of work shortlisted for Perfetti Van Melle campaign.

DDB Mudra has three pieces of work shortlisted for Air India campaign. JWT India has one shortlist entry for Berger Paints and one more for Pepsico. Publicis Ambience has one for Sansui Electronics. Creativeland Asia has one for Café Coffee Day.

Print

There are 11 pieces of work across six broad entries from India that have made to the Print shortlist at Spikes Asia. These include three entries from Ogilvy India for Perfetti Van Melle campaign. DDB Mudra has three entries shortlisted for the Air India campaign. Euro RSCG has two entries shortlisted for the HDFC campaign.

Leo Burnett has one entry for Bajaj Electricals. Creativeland Asia has one entry for Bigadda.com. Bates 141 has one entry for Reliance General Insurance.

Media

There are six entries shortlisted in the Media category. Lodestar Universal is the only one with two of its entries making it to the shortlist, though both are for the work done for Tata Nano.

Starcom Worldwide’s work done for Singapore Tourism board has made it to the shortlist too. There also is one entry from Publicis Ambience for L’Oreal India. DDB Mudra has an entry shortlisted for Hindustan Times.

Direct & Sales Promotion

There are eight entries shortlisted in the Direct & Sales Promotion. These include two entries from Leo Burnett – one each for Rotary Blood Bank and Mumbai Railway Police. Contract too has two entries that have made it to the shortlist --- both are for the work done for Sanctuary Asia.

Ogilvy India has an entry for IBM India and JWT India has an entry for The Times of India. McCann Erickson’s work done for Prism Papyrus is in the shortlist too along with Publicis India’s work done for In Gandhi’s Shoes.

Design

There are eight entries that have made it to the Design shortlist. JWT India has two entries --- one each for Sulekha.com and Maharashtra Jan Vikas Kendra. Red Lion Publicis too has two entries – one each for Ranjit Barot and Sulakshan Kulkarni. In addition, Publicis Ambience has one shortlist for Cancer Patients Association.

McCann Erickson has one entry for Perfetti Van Melle. Bates 141 has one entry for T C Ghai and DDB Mudra has one shortlist for the Nilgiri Dairy Farm.
