Jayashree Mohanka joins The Telegraph as Vice-President

Jayashree Mohanka has joined the ABP Group as Vice-President, in-charge of THE Group’s English daily The Telegraph. She comes in place of Shraman Jha, who had put in his papers last month. Mohanka’s last assignment was with Kolkata-based Eveready Industries, where she was Vice-President, Marketing.

Jayashree Mohanka has joined the ABP Group as Vice-President, in-charge of THE Group’s English daily The Telegraph. She comes in place of Shraman Jha, who had put in his papers last month. She will be functioning as a SBU head reporting to Amitabha Datta, President-Dailies, ABP Group.

Commenting on her new assignment, Mohanka said, “I have grown up with this paper and have watched it evolve into a vibrant and cutting edge newspaper. I look forward to building on it.”

Mohanka’s last assignment was with Kolkata-based Eveready Industries, where she was Vice-President, Marketing.

She had earlier worked with companies like Reckitt and Coleman in Product Management, Titan Industries as Regional Manager, and Jenson & Nicholson as General Manager.
