JWT Bangalore bags Nike’s creative business

Nike is all set to make its foray in the country and has decided on its creative partner as well. In the wake of a multi-agency pitch, the business has moved to JWT Bangalore. The other agency contesting in the final stage of the pitch was O&M.

Nike is all set to make its foray in the country and has decided on its creative partner as well. In the wake of a multi-agency pitch, the business has moved to JWT Bangalore. The other agency contesting in the final stage of the pitch was O&M. Confirming the development, Dhunji Wadia, VP and GM, Nike, said that the agency is excited about this new win.

With this development, JWT Bangalore will be involved with Nike right from the brand development in the country to enhance the presence that the brand has in the Indian market, for all the Nike products, which include footwear, apparel and accessories. Until now, one of Nike’s footwear – Nike Air was handled by Rediffusion DY&R and a substantial portion of their creatives comprised the international Nike ads.

The pitch was led by Rajesh Gangwani, the Vice President of the agency, Shekhar Deshpande, Navonil Chatterjee and Sainath Saraban.
