Lintas Media Group (LMG) is all set to add more services to its client offerings and the latest is Media Futures, which would offer consultancy services for publications and TV channels in various domains, largely in the non-traditional space. The service would be launched on February 24, 2006, and LMG’s Raj Gupta would take charge of Media Futures as President, in addition to his present responsibilities as President, Insight.

LMG has partnered with Garcia Media, an international publication design specialist, market information company Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS), and international broadcast design specialist Bruce Dunlop Associates (BDA) to give shape to new venture.

The launch would be officially announced on February 24 and, so, no comments were forthcoming from any official at LMG. An official invite nonetheless quoted Gupta saying: “We are pleased to announce the launch of Media Futures, a pioneering suite of services for media brands in India. Media Futures is being launched in association with Garcia Media, TNS and BDA.”

It is learnt that the new venture would be looking into areas of new media, innovative formats, product service definition and design and below-the-line activities. However, more on the service and the value-additions for clients in India would be known only in the last week of February.
