Luminelle Solar Technologies bags rights for 100 bus shelters in Bhopal
Luminelle Solar Technologies Ltd, a Delhi-based OOH company, has won the contract for building and maintaining 100 bus shelters in Bhopal. There was a tender floated in April 2008 in which several OOH companies had taken part. The contract was awarded to Luminelle Solar Technologies.

Rajeev Agrawal, Director, Luminelle Solar Technologies, said, “We have bagged the rights of 100 bus shelters through a bid. We have the contract for building and maintaining the bus shelters. We have paid Rs 1.25 crore to the Bhopal Nagar Nigam as license fee.”
He further said, “We have bagged the rights for installing 25 solar powered traffic signals on a build operate transfer (BOT) basis in Lucknow. The tenure of the agreement is 10 years.”
“Our future plans include increasing our properties in the NCR and nearby areas. We are targeting to acquire maximum properties before the Commonwealth Games, and have some projects in the pipeline,” Agrawal added.
