London-based M&C Saatchi has acquired Delhi-based creative ad agency February. The new entity shall be called M&C Saatchi February.
Founders Gopal Krishnan & Nirmal Pulickal will continue as business head & creative head respectively. They will be supported by M&C Saatchi CEO Anjali Nayar, who is appointed President of the new venture.
Through the joint venture, the brand new agency will offer advertising, design, digital, social, mobile, events & activations, and the clients include GE, Adidas, Nando’s, SBI and Panasonic Mobility.
Pulickal said, “When we launched February two years ago we had a simple goal – to create great work that works for our clients’ business. It’s great to find a partner in M&C Saatchi who shares our vision entirely.”
M&C Saatchi CEO Moray MacLennan, added, “India is a fundamental part of our global strategy, and we’re delighted to join forces with a brilliant team to help us create a global hub in this critical market.”
M&C Saatchi February will be headquartered in February’s offices in Delhi.
The partners of February will initially have a majority stake in the venture, with M&C Saatchi Worldwide becoming the majority shareholder over an agreed time scale.
