As part of its guides on various topics of mass appeal, Mail Today on August 5 launched a 150-page Pre-School Guide. Priced at Rs 50, the booklet covers over 100 pre-schools in Delhi and NCR, which would come in handy for young parents seeking a good school for their tiny tots. Mail Today had launched an Education Guide six weeks back, while a Wellness Guide is slated for launch in three weeks’ time.
The Pre-School Guide is divided area-wise, profiling schools in North, South, East, West, and Central Delhi, besides Noida, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad.
Suresh Balakrishana, COO, Mail Today, said, “These guides are a part of our line extension strategy. They provide detailed information that we cannot carry in the newspaper. Also, it is a good module for advertising revenue as it is focused on a specific audience.”
The Pre-School Guide is targeted at upwardly mobile parents and is being promoted via print, radio and BTL activities. The advertising and marketing has been done by the in-house team of Mail Today.
The Guide is being distributed through newsstands, leading bookshops, hawkers in key market places (wearing Mail Today Pre-School Guide bibs) and at traffic signals. This apart, one can also book a copy through a dedicated SMS number and have it delivered at their doorsteps paying cash on delivery.
