MPG bags Rs 30 crore LG Care media account

MPG has bagged the Rs 30 crore LG Care Media account. MPG will be responsible for the media planning and buying. An exclusive team will be handling the planning from Chennai. The other agencies, which were short listed for the pitch, were Zenith Media and Carat, India.

MPG has bagged the 30-crore LG Care Media account. MPG will be responsible for the media planning and buying. An exclusive team will handle the planning for the account from Chennai. For the media buying operations, Chennai or Bangalore branch will come into play, though this awaits finalisation.

MPG won the account on the basis of its strengths in strategic planning. The other agencies short-listed for the pitch were Zenith Media and Carat.

LG Care is present in 120 countries and is a leader in North East Asian markets like Korea, China and Japan. They have six factories in Korea spread over 900 acres. Their annual spend on R&D is around Rs 9,000 crore. The products are of international standards with state of the art packaging that compares with the best of the Western markets. LG Care has its offices currently, in Chennai and Mumbai, in India.
