MTNL Mumbai empanels four agencies for its advertising duties worth Rs 20 cr
Industry sources confirm that RK Swamy BBDO, Percept H, Sobhagya Advertising and Goldmine Advertising have been empanelled for the creative and media duties of MTNL, Mumbai, estimated at around Rs 20 crore. Sobhagya is the only agency that has managed to retain the account.
Following a multi-agency pitch held last week involving close to 25 agencies, industry sources confirm that Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has empanelled four agencies to handle its creative and media businesses for the Mumbai circle. The four agencies are RK Swamy BBDO, Percept H, Sobhagya Advertising and Goldmine Advertising.
The account is pegged at around Rs 20 crore and the mandate is for the next two years.
MTNL officials refrained from offering any comments on the development citing that the review was an internal matter. With this new appointment, the entire business will be split between these four agencies.
In 2005, MTNL had empanelled SSC&B Lintas, Sobhagya and Pressman Advertising to handle the advertising duties. Initiative was the media agency on the account.
