NDTV Convergence extends NDTV Arabia channel to the web platform

The channel NDTV Arabia was launched in 2007 to cater to the large Indian Diaspora in the region. NDTVArabia.tv is the first Indian website specially catering to the region and its issues.

NDTV Convergence Ltd, the 100 per cent subsidiary of NDTV Networks Plc, has recently launched the website NDTVArabia.tv. The channel NDTV Arabia was launched in 2007 to cater to the large Indian Diaspora in the region. NDTVArabia.tv is the first Indian website specially catering to the region and its issues.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Trehan, CEO, NDTV Convergence, said, “NDTVArabia.tv is the first of its kind rich media compatible website, which is completely Web 2.0 compliant as is the case with all products from the Convergence stable. The website is a natural extension to the NDTV Arabia channel as we now allow the viewers to interact with the channel and have also given them a platform to express their opinions.”
The site would also have a mobile component as the NDTV short code is being used to gauge the pulse with people sending their feedbacks through SMS.
Trehan further said, “We will be heavily promoting this site through anchor mentions and other promotions on the channel, and also through other online properties of NDTV Convergence, including the flagship Ndtv.com.”
