NDTV Media Ltd, the ad sales arm of NDTV Group and one of India’s largest independent sales companies, has made some senior level appointments to strengthen its team.

Narendra Tripathi, after a short stint with Jagran Group’s radio venture Radio Mantra as COO, is returning NDTV Media. He will join on March 5, as VP and will head the lifestyle channel that NDTV will launch shortly. Tripathi had earlier done a two-year stint with NDTV Media as AVP-Sales.

Kavita Khurana, who was formerly with STAR TV as Assistant Vice-president, will be joining NDTV Media in the same position. Khurana comes on board from March 1, and will look after new projects.

Choodamani Parameshwar, who was earlier Chief Financial Officer of GroupM, has also joined NDTV Media as Commercial Controller.

Shivaraman Iyer has joined NDTV Media as Sales Head and is handling events and special projects. He has moved from The Times of India Group where he was Deputy Chief Manager.

NDTV Media CEO Raj Nayak said about the appointments, “All four of them are extremely talented people with immense experience and knowledge about the industry. They will add value in strengthening NDTV Media’s team.”

Commenting on the reason for his shift from Radio Mantra, Tripathi said, “I had no problems with Jagran. It is a fantastic group. But I am thrilled to have got the opportunity to work with Raj Nayak again.”
