International search portal Google today launched its Google SMS facility for mobile users in India. Through this beta offering, users can avail of the Google Search tool without the need of a computer or an internet enabled phone.

International search portal Google today launched its Google SMS facility for mobile users in India. Through this beta offering, users can avail of the Google Search tool without the need of a computer or an internet enabled phone.
The new service enables the user to get business listings, movie show timings among others by typing 54664 from their mobile phones.
Users will have to pay premium messaging rates while using the service.
This service is currently available on the Airtel, Aircel, BPL, BSNL and Reliance Communication networks in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
