Telecom value-added services provider OnMobile Global has acquired the entire stake in speech technology and language processing software provider Telisma of France for an undisclosed amount.
Onmobile that offers ringback tones, mobile content aggregation and distribution, and interactive media portals said the acquisition of Telisma would enable the local company to accelerate its penetration into emerging markets by developing new speech recognition language models.
