OOH Media roped in Rajesh Kumar as Head - Special Projects

OOH Media has brought in Rajesh Kumar as Head of Special Projects. Kumar moves from The Times of India Group, where he was Editor – Special Projects of Times Internet Ltd. At OOH Media, he will be reporting to its Director, Raju Sarin.

Out of Home (OOH) Media has brought in Rajesh Kumar as Head of Special Projects. Kumar moves from The Times of India Group, where he was Editor – Special Projects of Times Internet Ltd and was responsible for the quality content of editorial content across the online editions of The Times of India.

Confirming the news to exchange4media, Ishan Raina, Founder & CEO, OOH Media, said, “Yes, Rajesh has joined us as Head of our Special Projects. He will be reporting to Raju Sarin in Delhi.”

On his new role, Kumar said, “OOH TV is the in thing today. It is growing at a fast rate, giving a tough competition to other media such as print, TV and traditional outdoor. My new role is indeed challenging, but interesting. I am sure that I will be able deliver my 100 per cent.”

On Kumar’s appointment, Raju Sarin, Director, OOH Media, said, “Rajesh is very well networked in both private and public sectors. I am confident that he will help the company to expand and grow our revenue in these sectors.”

Kumar brings in a rich experience of over 13 years, of which editorial has been a major part. In addition to The Times of India, he has worked with various online portals, including Mantraonline, Yahoo!, MSN, Broadcast India, etc. During his stint with Media Transasia, Kumar had also done sales for magazines. He has been Editor – Special Projects for ‘Swagat’, ‘Discover India’, ‘Travel & Leisure’, and ‘Golf Style’ magazines.

Kumar is also on the expert panel of the Commission for Scientific & Technical Terminology, a statutory body under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.
