Pantaloon assigns its fashion advertising business to Saints & Warriors; account size Rs 16 cr

According industry sources close to the development, the estimated account size is in the region of Rs 15-16 crore. While Saints & Warriors would handle fashion advertising for Pantaloons, PerceptH would handle part of the departmental store campaigns. TBWA\India handles their mall business pan-India.

Commenting on the account win, Singh, Chairman, Saints & Warriors, said, “We intend to carry forward the strategy of reducing the customer’s purchase cycle by creating an intangible of ‘something is new at the store every few days’.”
On the communication mix, Singh said, “The communication for the business would be supported through print and outdoor. It would also be contributed through the television medium.”
Started in 2006, Saints & Warriors has reported capitalised billings in excess of Rs 60 crore in the present financial year. Its client list includes Frankfinn, Amul innerwear, Elf Lubricants, Lokmat Group, WWIL, Staples, Apna Loan and two new fashion brands from the house of Spykar.
Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd operates multiple retail formats in both value and lifestyle segments. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company now has 37 stores across 21 cities. With the planned rapid expansion, the format will extend to 50 stores by the end of 2008.
