Patanjali Ayurved reclaims No 1 spot as top spender on TV for week 33

Patanjali topped the BARC charts in the ‘Top 10 Brands across genres’ category, according to data released for week 33(August 13-19). With 24,828 insertions, Patanjali scaled the number 1 spot yet again. Last week, Amazon India was leading the chart with 27,701 insertions, however, this week it doesn’t even figure in the top 10 list. The multimedia campaign by Patanjali that started ahead of Independence Day takes a dig at multinational rivals by comparing them to the East India Company.
Cadbury, which was at the third spot for the last two weeks has moved to No 2 with 20,938 insertions. Dettol has occupied the third place, climbing two spots ahead as compared to last week with 16,050 insertions. Pond’s has reclaimed the fourth spot with 14,979 insertions as compared to 16,948 last week. Fair & Lovely is there at the fifth place with 14,841 insertions as compared to the 8th place last week.
One of the new entrants this week is National Health Mission occupying the eighth place with 13,353 insertions.
