Pinaki Bhattacharya joins Saatchi & Saatchi as Senior VP - Planning
Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Pinaki Bhattacharya as Senior VP - Planning for Delhi and Bangalore regions. Bhattacharya would be reporting to Sanjib Dey, Executive VP and Branch Head, Saatchi & Saatchi, Delhi, and CEO Kamal Basu. His last stint was with Draft FCB Ulka, where he was heading the Delhi office for strategic planning.

Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Pinaki Bhattacharya as Senior VP - Planning for Delhi and Bangalore regions. Bhattacharya would be reporting to Sanjib Dey, Executive VP and Branch Head, Saatchi & Saatchi, Delhi, and CEO Kamal Basu. His last stint was with Draft FCB Ulka, where he was heading the Delhi office for strategic planning.
On Bhattacharya’s appointment, Dey said, “Bhattacharya is a good planning resource and we needed a senior person to handle the business in Delhi and Bangalore regions.”
On his new role, Bhattacharya said, “The reason I have joined Saatchi & Saatchi is that I like the young energy that the agency exudes, besides there is a lot of growth momentum here. I was looking for such a creative partnership.”
Bhattacharya began his career in 1994 in client servicing with Contract. Then he joined TBWA in client servicing, where he spent three and a half years. Then he moved on to strategic planning in 2000 when he joined Draft FCB Ulka, where he worked till 2004, then in-between he had a year-long stint at JWT. Bhattacharya rejoined Draft FCB Ulka, where he worked till joining Saatchi & Saatchi.
