Rajeev Gaur has put in his papers as COO at Times Business Solutions Ltd (TBSL), where he was second-in-command to CEO R Sundar. Gaur’s resignation comes after a tough few months faced by the company. exchange4media had reported about layoffs in Times Group in February, where reportedly TBSL was among the worst hit.

TBSL owns and runs the online classifieds business of The Times of India Group, including real estate portal MagicBricks, jobs portal TimesJobs, matrimonial portal SimplyMarry, general classifieds YoList, and advertising booking service Ads2Book.
Gaur could not be contacted at the time of filing the report despite repeated attempts. No comments were forthcoming from Times Business Solutions either. It is believed that Gaur has not yet finalised his next move.
Gaur has been with the Times Group for nearly two decades and has been associated with many pioneering activities, most notable of which were the launch of Times Group’s online initiatives and his contribution in the transition of the Group’s philosophy of brand selling to category selling across brands.
