Sanjay Nayak steps down as President McCann, Govind Pandey takes over as COO

Mc Cann India is witnessing leadership changes, Sanjay Nayak, President McCann Worldgroup India, will be moving on to join a start-up venture. Govind Pandey will now take on the role as Chief Operating Officer McCann Worldgroup India and directly report to Prasoon Joshi Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McCann Worldgroup India. Alok Lall Executive Director McCann Worldgroup will assume National responsibilities of McCann's Advertising operations.

Sanjay Nayak joined McCann in 2001 and until 2006 he was Sr VP & General Manager and in 2007 he was elevated as President of McCann Worldgroup.

Prior to McCann, he was President and COO of TBWA. He has also worked as Vice President of O&M and Executive Director, where he had profit centre responsibility for Bangalore operation of Ogilvy & Mather.
