Sanmarg launches Patna edition, introduces reader engagement schemes

Hindi daily Sanmarg has recently launched its Patna edition. The daily has been priced at Rs 2.50 on weekdays and Rs 3.50 on Sundays. The edition is based on franchisee model similar to that of The Pioneer.

Hindi daily Sanmarg has recently launched its Patna edition. The daily has been priced at Rs 2.50 on weekdays and Rs 3.50 on Sundays. The edition is based on franchisee model similar to that of The Pioneer.

The publication has also introduced incentives and schemes to engage more readers. Vivek Gupta, Director, Sanmarg, “We have recently introduced some schemes, two of which are specifically aimed at increasing the circulation.”

The Patna edition of Sanmarg is also in a tie-up with local cable TV PTN to provide the target audience with news that would thus be in synergy in both print and television space.

Commenting on the Patna launch, Vivek Gupta, Director, Sanmarg Pvt Ltd, said, “I feel there is space for more newspapers, and in future we can hope to see more launches in this belt. There is enough scope for everybody.”
