Speculation rife about Rohit Ohri joining FCB ULKA as India Head
Ohri who has ended his stint at the Dentsu Aegis Network after four-years is slated to be joining FCB Ulka as the India Head
The industry has been rife with speculation with the Rohit Ohri’s resignation, since he moved into his new role in Singapore. According to industry sources Ohri has been in talks with FCB India to head its India operations since a couple of months now.
Today in a formal statement the Dentsu Aegis Network announced Ohri’s departure ending his four year stint with the agency . Ohri did not confirm the news of his joining FCB India at the time of filing this report.
In June, Dentsu Aegis Network announced the geographic expansion of Ohri’s role. Having previously led Dentsu in India and Asia Pacific South, Ohri was appointed CEO Dentsu Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) covering all markets in the region outside of Dentsu’s home territory.”
After 21 years at JWT, Ohri joined Dentsu in 2011 as Executive Chairman.
