Disney officials were not available for comments at the time of filing the report, but executives familiar with the situation have confirmed the development. The incumbent agency on the media side of the business is Maxus.
When the pitch was first called, WDTVI was reviewing only the creative side of the business. The competitive pitch for media was later added to the overall process.
