TBWA\Mumbai gets a new address; shifts from Bandra to Worli
TBWA\India has shifted its Mumbai office to a new location. The agency, which was located in Bandra (East) for the last nine years, has now set up base in Worli.
TBWA\India has shifted its Mumbai office to a new location. The agency, which was located in Bandra (East) for the last nine years, has now set up base in Worli.
The agency inaugurated its new office with a party inviting media, clients and friends in an innovative way. The agency parceled across everybody waste, such as used empty Bisleri bottles, cans, scratched CDs and other waste papers. Along with the waste, it included an invitation note that stated: “We don’t need this, but need you”.
The new office of the agency will incorporate the creative, media and public relations operations under one roof. The reason for the shift was due to the expiry of the lease contract and also with the need for a bigger place. Hence, the agency has moved from the suburbs to the town side of Mumbai.
The new office was officially inaugurated on the evening of April 24, 2009. TBWA\India’s Shiv Sethuraman played the perfect host for the evening and was accompanied by the key heads of the agency like NCD Rahul Sengupta; Nirmalaya Sen, COO – North; Tequila’s John Mathew; and TBWA\India South Head Vishal Ahluwalia among others. Also present at the party were OMD’s Jasmin Sohrabji and Harish Shriyan.
