This festive season, Reliance General Insurance wants you to shop healthy
The campaign raises awareness on cancer-causing ingredients in common products
Reliance General Insurance Company Limited has announced the launch of its new campaign, "This Shopping Season, Choose Responsibly. Shop Healthy." The primary objective of this campaign is to create awareness about the presence of cancer-causing ingredients in everyday objects, especially during the festive and shopping season.
“In our daily lives, we often overlook the hidden dangers lurking in the products we use. With the festive season just around the corner, it's more important than ever to educate people about the potential health risks associated with seemingly harmless items. Our campaign specifically targets three common products: non-stick pans made of Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), and Teflon, wall paint which contains Lead and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), and makeup products which contains Parabens,” stated a press release.
“The central message of our campaign is simple yet powerful: "This shopping season, choose responsibly. Shop healthy." We want to encourage consumers to be more conscious of the products they purchase and to check for cancer-causing ingredients before making their choices,” it added.
Anand Singhi, Chief Distribution Officer, Reliance General Insurance, expressed his enthusiasm for this campaign, saying, "In a world filled with choices, we often forget that our choices can have a direct impact on our well-being. The 'This Shopping Season, Choose Responsibly. Shop Healthy.' campaign by RGI is a call to action, urging individuals to shop with responsibility for their own health and the health of their loved ones. Our brand focuses on proactive wellness and would want the consumer to make wise choices. We believe that knowledge is power, and by checking for cancer-causing ingredients, people can take a step towards a healthier and safer lifestyle."
