TME adds Travelocity, Bacardi Martini and Videocon planning AoR to its kitty

In addition to the recently bagged Travelocity account in Mumbai, The Media Edge has bagged Bacardi Martini in Delhi and the Videocon planning AoR in Mumbai. For Bacardi, the agency will handle both planning and buying. In the case of Videocon, it has been assigned the entire planning side of the business.

The Media Edge has added a few new accounts to its kitty. In addition to the recently bagged Travelocity account in Mumbai, TME has also bagged Bacardi Martini in Delhi and the Videocon planning AoR in Mumbai.

While the account size of Travelocity is in the region of Rs 15 crore, details about the business size Bacardi Martini was not available. Bacardi Martini came to TME in January following a pitch presentation. It will handle both planning and buying for the account. The incumbent on the business was Universal McCann (now Lodestar Universal).

In the case of Videocon, the agency has been assigned the entire planning side of the business. As is known, Videocon does its buying in-house.

These are some of the first wins that TME has bagged this year. Speaking on the recently added businesses, Anupriya Acharya, President, TME, said, “We are happy that the year has started on a good note for us and we look forward to the different challenges that each of these businesses brings with them. It helps us in further strengthening our diverse client portfolio. ”

As is known, some of the key accounts handled by TME are Colgate-Palmolive, Parle AoR, Indian Oil, DHL, Tata Motors, LIC, Yahoo!, Elder Pharmaceuticals AoR and Religare, among others. In Mumbai, the agency has been ranked among the top three by the AC Nielsen Media Agency Track.
