V Natarajan joins Business Standard as VP, Marketing

V Natarajan, who recently quit Businessworld as General Manager after a three-and-a-half-year stint, has joined Business Standard as VP, Marketing. Natarajan would look after both the Hindi and Gujarati editions in his new role. He would report to Akila Urankar, President, Business Standard.

V Natarajan, who recently quit Businessworld as General Manager after a three-and-a-half-year stint, has joined Business Standard as VP, Marketing. Natarajan would look after both the Hindi and Gujarati editions in his new role. He would report to Akila Urankar, President, Business Standard.

Natarajan has over 16 years’ experience in sales and marketing. He began his career with Madura Coats as a management trainee after completing his MBA from FMS Delhi. He spent nine years with Madura Coats during which he straddled different positions, including Branch Manager, Regional Manager, Assistant Product Manager and Product Manager.

Thereafter, he moved to Bausch & Lomb and was associated with the company for four years. He was GM, Sales and Marketing at Bausch & Lomb, when he joined Businessworld.
