Zee Cinema’s Marketing Head, Shalini, has put in her papers. Her predecessor, Prakash Ramchandani, had resigned three months ago. Shalini has been with the channel for the last three years and had headed marketing for Zee TV and Zee Turner before moving to handle Zee Cinema.

Speaking with exchange4media, Shalini said, “I am moving for better growth prospects.” But she did not divulge any details about her next assignment. She did mention, however, that she will remain within the Hindi entertainment channel genre. “This is the most powerful medium that the country is watching. This is really a space where you can actually influence people,” she commented.
Details on who would take her place are not known yet.
